Don't Assume the Worst

While as Christians we are called to stand for justice, at times we can become so zealous to fight injustice that we actually become unjust ourselves.

This article by Greg Morse was incredibly convicting to me. While as Christians we are called to stand for justice, at times we can become so zealous to fight injustice that we actually become unjust ourselves. This often happens when we assume the worst of others, believing that they have treated us or others wrongly without knowing their hearts.

Morse explains: “ [O]ur assumptions and accusations, even when truly felt, can be wholly untrue and unjust. Misrepresentation is a serious sin that God calls slander.”
