The Great Barrignton Declaration: An Interview with the Authors
The scientific evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of this kind of strategy.
Earlier today I posted a link to the Great Barrington Declaration, a statement authored by three of the world’s leading epidemiologists and supported by nearly 10,000 medical and public health scientists (and counting). This 30-minute interview with the epidemiologists who authored the Declaration is incredibly helpful in understanding why they made their recommendations. I find their arguments to be quite compelling, and I hope that local and state officials will begin following these recommendations immediately. In my view (and more importantly in the view of these epidemiologists), the scientific evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of this kind of strategy.
