The Logical Incoherence of Vaccine Mandates

If the CDC has openly admitted that the covid vaccines cannot prevent transmission, what is the legal, ethical, or logical justification for mandating these vaccines?

How do vaccine mandates (and especially vaccine passports) make ANY sense if vaccines do not stop transmission but are only said to reduce symptoms/improve outcomes?

If the CDC has openly admitted that the covid vaccines cannot prevent transmission, what is the legal, ethical, or logical justification for mandating these vaccines? The alleged reason for vaccine mandates is to prevent others from catching a viral illness—to protect the community, to “slow the spread,” etc. But if the *only* person the vaccine can offer any benefit to is the person who receives it, this justification completely and entirely disappears. Any mandate (and any “passports” linked to such mandates) cannot be said to have anything to do with public health, as the vaccines are not reducing the spread, stopping transmission, etc. Instead, the mandate is effectively the government or a private entity demanding that you take a *therapeutic treatment* as a condition of employment or for participating meaningfully within society. If we follow this reasoning to its logical conclusion, this would mean that governments and employers could mandate that you as an individual take ANY medication as a condition of employment: anti-depressant medications, birth control—even an Advil or allergy medication—could be required based on this reasoning.

Is this really a good thing for society? For individuals? And is it really in the best interests of public health?

Or are such mandates simply in the best interests of those who manufacture and sell these drugs? Or the best interests of individuals who want to shape and control society for their own benefit?

I honestly believe if we all had the ability to go back in time to just two years ago, EVERYONE—on the right and the left—would agree that what we are doing is genuinely and certifiably insane. But because of the ongoing fear, manipulation, gaslighting, and propaganda, many have been convinced that these mandates are not only necessary but good. If we hope to preserve any rights and liberties for our children and grandchildren—if we don’t want them to live under dystopian tyranny—we need to wake up to the reality of what is happening around us. May God grant us grace to help others see before it is too late.
