The Substantial Risks of Covid Vaccines: Information for Those Still Trying to Decide
Individuals should be made aware of both risks and benefits—and should have the right to ask questions—before making a decision.
I know that most of my friends who will choose to get the covid vaccine have likely already done so, but for those who still may be weighing the risks and benefits, I want to share an interview that addresses some very substantial risks associated with the vaccines that have not been widely acknowledged. Specifically, the short video clip below discusses the dangers associated with the spike protein being used in the creation of these vaccines.
For those concerned that what’s shared here may be misinformation because it raises questions and concerns that the CDC and WHO have failed to address, it must be noted that one of the guests in this interview is actually the creator of mRNA vaccine technology. He is not in any way predisposed against this technology but is simply very concerned about the use of the spike protein in these specific vaccines. And as the video explains, he is concerned not only about potential short-term adverse effects (some of which have been acknowledged by the CDC, WHO, etc.) but also potential long-term effects that have been completely ignored by the CDC, WHO, and others. Here’s the link:
And for anyone interested in learning more about the risks as well as safe and effective alternative treatments that have also been largely suppressed, here’s the link to the full podcast from which the video is excerpted (it’s about 3 hours long, but for those looking for well-researched information, it’s worth every minute). Note that the above link is to an Apple podcast instead of the video interview because the video has been censored by YouTube. If you want help obtaining a copy of the video interview, send me a private message and I will try to help you find it.
There are many more links that I could share here, and I certainly have some other thoughts on the attempts by many media personalities and government officials to pressure the “vaccine hesitant” to take the vaccine. But for now I simply want to reiterate my belief that whether or not someone takes the vaccine should be a personal decision that is not coerced by the government, employers, retailers, or anyone else. Moreover, individuals should have access to all the information and evidence that’s available so that they can make truly informed decisions; they certainly deserve more than simple, repeated affirmations that the vaccine is “safe and effective.”
As to the nature of informed decisions, last June I posted this excerpt from the Code of Medical Ethics (Opinion 2.1.1):
“Informed consent to medical treatment is fundamental in both ethics and law. Patients have the right to receive information and ask questions about recommended treatments so that they can make well-considered decisions about care.”
Significantly, not only should individuals be made aware of both risks and benefits before making a decision, they should also have the right to ask questions to ensure that they truly understand these risks and benefits. But instead of being encouraged to ask such questions, many individuals are made to feel stupid or foolish if they express any concerns at all about vaccine safety. What’s more, many media personalities and health officials continually gaslight the public by downplaying risks and adverse events, even when it is indisputable that these vaccines DO carry risks. This leads to my last comment for the night:
Why—WHY—is information about the risks of these vaccines being suppressed? Why are public health officials—officials tasked with protecting and encouraging public health—so quick to highlight the presumed effectiveness of these vaccines without acknowledging (or being very slow to acknowledge) a growing list of adverse effects? And why are corporate media outlets, social media companies, and other technology platforms (e.g., YouTube) also working to suppress knowledge of these adverse effects, including censoring the creator of mRNA technology noted in the links above? I don’t know all the reasons why, but the ongoing censorship of those who dissent from the prevailing narrative should concern everyone who cares about informed consent (and individual freedom more broadly).
